Scott, Karlie and I headed to the big pumpkin patch in Idaho yesterday. We had such a great time again. It was the same place that we went last year. There is so much to do there, we were there for hours.

October 2008. She sure has changed a lot in a year!
Karlie loves trampolines. Daddy jumped with her for quite a while. The big kids scare her a little when they come flying by, but Daddy was there to protect her.
She played in the corn box a few times while we were there. That stuff was tough to walk in. But fun to scoop and pour.
Daddy rode the cow train with Karlie this year. He got lucky though, they didn't have it set up so it was so bumpy like last year.
We had to feed the goats a few times while we were there. Actually, I think we fed them every time we passed by. (I think Daddy was enjoying this too). They also had pig races. Karlie loved this and kept yelling "Run Pigs!" I wasn't able to get a good picture though. Who knew bacon could move so quick!
Well, if you all know anything about Karlie, you know she absolutely loved this. She made sure to let us know that it was a pony, not a horse. She was first in line for this ride so she got to choose which pony. She picked the biggest one. His name was Charlie.

Karlie went down this slide so many times that I lost count. It was fast so she loved it.
Here Daddy and Karlie are headed into the corn maze with Mommy right behind them. Karlie might have been a little bored, but Daddy sure had fun using the map and trying to guide us through.
This is Karlie hiding in the corn, waiting to "Boo" Daddy when he came by. The giggling in anticipation almost gave her away though.

This picture was taken from the back of the corn maze. They had a big stand you could climb up on and look to see where you were. If you look really hard at the center of the picture you can see two tall hay bales. That is near the entrance to the maze. We had walked a lot further into the field than I had originally thought. They do have "corn cops" in case you actually get lost.
After the maze, we figured we better head into the pumpkin patch before it got too dark to pick some good pumpkins.
Karlie was not as cooperative about sitting still and letting us get pictures like she was last year. She is always on the go!
Soon the wagon was loaded and we headed back to the courtyard.
Karlie really wanted to get up on one of the tall haystacks. It came up to my shoulders. When she got up there, she decided to dance to the country music that was playing.
Our last adventure for the day was the hay ride. It was a nice peaceful end to our day, until a scary clown came out of the "Field of Screams" and followed us for a little while. Karlie did not like him at all. She kept clinging to Daddy saying "That clown scare me!"
We headed out of the pumpkin patch just as the sun went down. What a great afternoon!

Where's that pumpkin patch? We went to Purdums and want to go to the corn maze outside of town. Although the clown jumping out would freak Connor out and maybe the others too. I think I would have my hands full if a few of them started crying.
