While we were up working in Montana, we took a weekend to visit some of my old friends. Actually, the Cowleys are like family, I have known them my whole life.

Here is a picture of Dick's car that he had at the car show.

Karlie got to meet the (little scary) A&W Bear.

Karlie got to pet and help feed
McKenna's horses.

Karlie got to meet Pam's hedgehog Peek-A-Boo. What a cool little creature. I wouldn't mind having one of them around. But Karlie seems to want snakes and lizards.

Hedgehogs are extremely
pokey!!

We had a bonfire at Dick & Debbie's. Karlie got to roast
marshmallows and make
s'mores. The kids ran around until midnight while us bigger kids had a few drinks around the fire.

On Sunday, Karlie and I went up to Debbie's dad's cabin. It is way up in the mountains about 8 miles from the Canadian border. This is the view from his back porch. The mountain that you see is one of the mountains in Glacier National Park.

The girls playing in the meadow in the cabin's "backyard." It was hard not thinking about the fact that they had a grizzly right here the morning before.
