Karlie and I had made plans to go to the zoo with some friends. Our friends were unable to go, so we went by ourselves and had a mommy, daughter day at the zoo.

Karlie is always disappointed that our zoo doesn't have elephants. But the spraying elephant statue was a hit.
Our zoo recently added an African Plains section. This Hyena is a new addition.
