Last night just before dark, we noticed a giant bird in tree behind our house. This is a very unusual sight around here. I have been up here forever, and can't recall ever seeing a bald eagle near here.
He was still there when we woke up this morning for a couple of hours. Then he stretched his wings and preened for a bit and then he was gone. I did see him flying around out there right before dark again tonight. Maybe he'll decide to live near here.
