While we were in Portland we made a stop at the Oregon Zoo with Auntie Monica. It was a cool rainy day, but we were troopers and had fun anyway.

Some school kids had a peace dove parade while we were there. Karlie loved this.

Here is Oregon Zoo's baby elephant. He is eight months old and 1000lbs. Karlie loves elephants, so we spent quite a while checking out this little guy.

He is really cute.

Since we couldn't pet the baby elephant, we decided to check a statue of one.

Auntie Monica and Karlie giving the bear statue a hug.

Cracking
each other up!

For some reason the giraffe was sucking and licking the window frame in his giraffe house.

Here I am playing with goats again. Are you surprised?

Since the real lions are
temporarily not at the
Oregon Zoo during the remodel, they had this cool life size cut out. Karlie had to go and stand by the Line Line.

We took the same picture last year.

We had lots of fun with Auntie Monica. Can't wait to see her again.
