Before we headed outside to work in the yard, Scott and Karlie had to get their sunglassess on. Karlie liked Daddy's better than hers!
The weather was finally warm enough and the ground dried out enough for us all to get outside and do some yard work and start scraping paint off of the house. We are planning to paint and have new windows installed next month.
Karlie had a great time playing in the mud and dirt, and picking up rocks and putting them in a bucket. She ate a big clump of dirt and when I told her that dirt was yucky, she kept saying "yummy" and "more dirt."
By the end of the day Karlie added rock, dirt, grass, leaf and shovel to her vocabulary. It was a great to just finally be outside and we are looking forward for more great spring weather.
